The 3MP iriscope captures images directly to memory inside the iriscope. This memory is faster from the standard SD memory found in most cameras. When taking live video snapshot images, speed is imperative to attain clear images. The longer it takes (milliseconds) saving an image to memory will affect the quality of image.

The 3D mode option comes with the new 3MP. This mode is good for enhanced detection of pupil deformations, anw and transversals.

The Focus dial is located on side of magnification adaptor instead of on top. The new location is much easier to access when focusing on iris images.

Light option to turn-on and turn-off right or left LED. This is good for blue eyes only, especially when observing heart sectors. Brown irides always require both lights left on.

Images are much more detailed than the 1.3 MP Iriscope system.

1: By selecting the Display mode, up to 4 Iris pictures at the same time will be displayed on the screen, and you can take or delete the Iris pictures randomly.
